Community Think Tank

The “Community Think Tank” is designed to develop programs and/or activities that directly impact the needs in Revel’s surrounding neighborhood, which are the First and Second Wards of Atlantic City. The concept of the “Think Tank,” initiated by Revel’s Community Outreach department, is to develop a partnership with neighborhood stakeholders with the intent of working together, utilizing the necessary resources to create and execute realistic plans to address action items. Although the concept was conceived by Revel’s Community Outreach department, the intent of the “Community Think Tank” is that it be primarily community driven.

The rationale for the “Think Tank” is that grassroots and community organizations, as well as neighborhood businesses, are intimately involved in their neighborhoods and know the needs. By partnering, we create shared ownership of the projects and activities created to address these needs. In addition, projects and activities will be more realistic given everyone’s responsibility to, in some manner, contribute to resources as needed.
